Adoption
The firm provides legal representation in adoptions of all types including independent adoption, agency adoption, interstate adoption, international adoption, and surrogacy situations. Mr. Thurman, a principal of the firm, is a member of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys (AAAA), and is listed in the Adoptive Families of America (AFA) Guide to Adoptions. He has been a featured speaker at numerous adoption seminars, including the Continuing Legal Education seminar, Adoption Law in North Carolina. The firm has provided services for adoptive parents, birth parents and/or adoptees in Interstate adoptions between the State of North Carolina and the following states:
