Representative Casework:

Prevailed in the North Carolina Court of Appeals against a Virginia construction company attempting to escape liability on personal jurisdiction.  See Bauer v. Douglas Aquatics, Inc., 698 S.E.2d 757 (N.C. App. 2010)

Helped concerned homeowners remove the board of directors of the homeowners association through obtaining a court ordered recall election.

Fought for the rights taxicab owners in lobbying efforts with Charlotte City Council and in litigation against Charlotte Douglas Airport and the City of Charlotte.

Successfully defended fraud claims against a developer of a multi-million dollar development in multi-week jury trial.  

Foreclosure sale set aside by the Court by showing the lender foreclosed on the property in disregard to legal requirements.

Represented a victim of a drunk driving accident in litigation and settled with the insurance company, the defendant personally, and the restaurant chain that served the defendant alcohol.

Settled multiple cases against a national bank for wrongful foreclosure.

Required national builder to buy back an uptown penthouse from client due to negligent construction.
